Jocelyn and Devon picked one of the coldest days ever for their Graffiti Alley engagement session. Baby… the word cold is an understatement to how it actually felt! However, with the smiles on their faces, you would have never known. This beautiful and delightful couple came to slay! Their love definitely added warmth and heat to this gallery!

I absolutely loved this formal, vibrant and colorful engagement session – and the couple’s personalities were just as rewarding. Their formal attire complimented the urban vibe they were looking for so well. To our surprise, a world renowned African American singer, Ms. Anita Baker, was featured at the alley during this visit, and her mural was a great beginning to our session. I later discovered she was a favorite of the future bride.

One of the best things about shooting at Graffiti Alley is that the local artists change the alley so often that no two visits are ever the same, making each and every shooting experience unique to the artist and client. If you are looking for a colorful artistic vibe for your session, you can’t go wrong with a Graffiti Alley engagement session.

As you can see in the highlight images from their gallery, the location can be dressed up but you can definitely be casual and bring a more urban vibe as well. My only suggestion would be to wear solid colors and less patterns due to the colorful and vibrant atmosphere. Planning to check it out? The earlier in the day the better. Parking is limited and the crowds do accumulate as the day progresses.
